Imran “Raz” Razvi is the founder of Higher Ground Financial Group.  He has been taking care of the financial needs of his clients for 30 years.   Raz specializes in understanding each client as a whole person, integrating the client’s personal needs for current and long-term financial health into a plan of preparing for and navigating through the retirement years.   Raz was joined in the company by his son, Daniel, and they both appreciate working as a father-son team, combining their strengths to formulate personalized plans for their clients.  Raz and Daniel also enjoy teaching together and jointly present seminars on financial strategies and minimizing taxes in retirement.  

Raz’s personal time is dedicated to God and to his family.   He and his wife, Tami, founded the ministry, “Conquered By Love," which focuses on developing healthy parenting and strong family relationships, particularly devoted to the needs of adoptive families.  Raz and his wife have 13 children (5 by birth and 8 by adoption).   Raz delights in being together with them at their home in the foothills of the Catoctin mountains watching their sheep, cattle, and horses, or playing a family game of volleyball, or sitting around a campfire.  Everyone who knows Raz recognizes that he has achieved his ultimate goal in life of becoming a grandfather and his growing number of grandchildren all know how special they are to him.

Daniel Razvi is an attorney who owns Higher Ground Legal, a nationwide law firm, specifically focused on trusts, wills, and taxes.  Also, a founder of Higher Ground Financial Group with his father Imran Razvi, Daniel is passionate about assisting clients with planning for retirement, minimizing risk, fees, and taxes.   He thoroughly enjoys designing plans to meet the varying needs of his clients.   Daniel has appeared on Fox Business and can be heard on weekly radio shows on AM 570 “The Answer” in DC, and 560 KSFO in San Francisco.  His teaching style and advice have been invaluable to listeners.  

On a personal note, Daniel is a classically trained pianist and composer, and a great supporter of the arts and of bringing classical music to his local community, hoping to instill a love of music in the next generation.  Daniel’s personal faith is an integral part of his life;  and he enjoys preaching at his church.  Family is important to Daniel and his favorite activities always include either traveling or being at home in the foothills of the Catoctin mountains in Maryland with his wife, two children and Great Pyrenees dogs.

Tim has a diverse business background, having worked in the RV industry as well as owning and operating businesses in marketing, coaching, and technology.  He thoroughly enjoys working with clients to clarify their retirement goals and develop effective strategies to achieve those goals.  He believes that retirement should eliminate the need for a job, allowing people to have the freedom and peace of mind to focus on their true purpose in life.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Tim has been active in ministry and mission work for more than 35 years.  Tim and his wife Chris enjoy spending time with their two married children and their spouses, who live nearby in the suburbs of Washington, DC. They especially love spending time with their granddaughter. Tim is actively involved in his local church, where he takes on leadership roles, and enjoys writing and teaching about faith and discipleship.

Brian is a successful entrepreneur who has opened multiple businesses over the last 25 years. He understands the importance of helping clients mitigate financial risks to achieve overall financial prosperity. Brian works with clients nearing or in retirement to help increase their income while reducing risk so they can enjoy a worry-free lifestyle in their golden years. He is married to Kristen, and they have four kids. Brian is active in his local church, and when not spending time with family and attending his kids' sporting events, he can be found on the golf course.

Andy has over 35 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur in consulting, sales,
marketing, and training. Specializing in retirement income planning, he finds great fulfillment in
helping individuals develop tailored financial strategies that maximize their income during
retirement. His expertise lies in guiding clients through the complexities of retirement planning
and helping them to make informed decisions to create sustainable income streams that align
with their goals.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Andy lives in Easton, MD with his wife, Julie. They are
blessed to have seven children and five grandchildren. They treasure spending time together as a
family. Faith is a cornerstone of their lives, and they have been actively involved in their parish
school community for over 24 years, reflecting their commitment to both family and faith.
